Welcome!



     The Social Suncoast Linux Users Group is comprised primarily of Suncoast Linux Users Group (SLUG) members, who have a penchant for alcoholic libation.  These folk meet monthly to partake in adult revelry, with like minded individuals and couples.  These gatherings are free from the usual bonds of hardware and software which, as anyone who attends a regular Linux Users Group meeting should expect, pervade the regular SLUG meetings.  The object of these meetings is to draw Linux users together socially, under the commonality of "geekery" and good humor.  Although many participants are from Sarasota, many others travel from Tampa, Orlando, Bradenton and Venice, to enjoy the monthly festivities.

omg, we're MEETING AGAIN! We are having a meet-up at the Oktoberfest put on by Tampa World of Beer Fri. Oct 5 AT 6:30PM! There will be multiple Oktoberfest-style beers available from different distributors, a polka band, German food, and other USELESS TRADITIONS! Join us for geekery, beer, and lederhosen INDUCED WONDERMENT! So, rummage through your closet to find your finest traditional garb with inlaid elk-horn engraved breast piece adornments, and you won't REGRET IT!
